I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Ashley and Stephan’s engagement session at Windwood Equestrian early this year. This sweet couple have been together for a year and will actually be married at Windwood later this year in October. I love being able to be a part of multiple important events in my client’s life to carry on the comfortable and natural nature of my photography style.
Ashley and Stephan met on the popular social media dating application Tinder where their first date took place at Pirates Cove in Gulf Shores. They spent an enjoyable day under the Alabama sun, and I can happily say “the rest was history.” Ashley is a hairdresser while Stephan is a jack-of-all-trades that enjoys building furniture and fixing anything he get his hands on. They love to take trips to the beach and adore their fur-babies, Rolland and Ringo, that they love to take for walks and throw the frisbee for. Their ideal date night would hands-down have to be a relaxing night in.
When I asked Ashley and Stephan to describe one another, Stephan described Ashley as bubbly, observant, impatient, hangry, and loving. Ashley described Stephan as kind, social, determined, a perfectionist, and beyond-loving. The “loving” adjective they used to describe one another could definitely be felt and seen as our session proceeded.
This delightful couple look forward to spending time with their family on their big day, and they cannot wait to have all of the people they love one one place. Ashley and Stephan were such an easy and amiable couple to photograph, and I am so grateful to have been a part of such a special moment that proceeds their wedding.
