The weather was absolutely pleasant for this lovely wedding held at the end of February this past month. Amy and Dylan were wed at First Baptist Church of Birmingham. A beautifully airy and open church venue that perfectly accented the florals provided by Linda Bearden which displayed cream and maroon arrangements.
Amy looked classic and stunning in her wedding gown from The Something Blue Shoppe; while her hair and makeup, by Amanda Ingram and Sara Farris respectively, gave her that constantly sought after bridal glow. Her bridesmaids donned coordinating berry-colored dresses, from Azazie, that complimented the winter-themed florals.
Smiles were effervescent and bright as the day continued as Amy and Dylan tried to take in the events quickly unfolding. The groom and groomsmen looked dapper in their suits provided by Men’s Warehouse, and since the sweet couple decided to forgo the “first look,” excitement built as they patiently waited for the oncoming ceremony.
After the joy-filled and spiritually-enriched ceremony ensued, the couple proceeded to celebrate their marriage at BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft. The gallery was decorated with ambient light and coordinating florals. As Tim Tyler, the entertainer for the night, belted out classic musical favorites, the couple performed a a more-than-entertaining first dance that included smooth dips and flips. Amy and Dylan cut their Alabama-inspired wedding cake from Magic Muffins and shared a yummy first bite together in front of the excited guests; and they completed the night in a wave of thrown rice off to their ever-waiting honeymoon.
