This classic Southern wedding took place at the timeless Sonnet House in Leeds, Alabama. Aubrey was beyond stunning in her strapless, lace-detailed wedding gown and glowing smile. Albeit the toasty weather, Aubrey, Jimmy, and the rest of the wedding party were on par with staying on schedule with photos; yet, we were still able to have fun as I encouraged the party to cheer on the couple for a quick, dramatic kiss for the camera.

After a touching first look in the forest field behind the venue, I encouraged the party to cheer on the almost newlyweds for a quick, dramatic kiss for the camera. The reactions of the flower girls and ring bearer make me giggle every time I look back on this day.

Before the ceremony, the couple was able to take a slight breather to share loving letters to one another expressing their love and prayers for the future and cool down from the unrelenting heat. Everyone’s heads turned as Aubrey made her way down the flower petal-littered aisle. Her glowing presence made everyone awe in admiration as well as her soon-to-be husband with slight tears prickling at the corners of his eyes.

The wedding cake was thoroughly taken care of by the excited guests, and dancing soon ensued on the dance floor in a series of loud laughs, funny movements, and the sharing of inside jokes. The newlyweds were swept into a Rolls Royce to commence their honeymoon after being sent off in a wave of white rose petals.
